IoT & Things Data Architecture

ITDA architecture — connecting rural and urban sites over Global IoT LTE, running real-time LID monitoring and a smart irrigation gate (water-level sensor, valve actuator, ThingsBoard server)

IoT & Things Data Architecture (ITDA)

Key Features

  • Built on ThingsBoard — register, monitor and control field instruments and actuators from one screen
  • Global IoT LTE connectivity — works in rural and urban sites without laying a dedicated network
  • Condition-based (water-level) control — set upper and lower ponding thresholds remotely from the server or a smartphone, and the valve opens and closes automatically according to the measured level
  • Solar powered — keeps running in the field without a permanent power supply
  • Real-time field data — groundwater levels from observation wells and daily ponding depth, collected continuously (used for LID performance assessment and infiltration monitoring)
  • Carbon-emission reduction estimates — an AI agent quantifies reductions, feeding digital MRV based carbon credits
